Sports luminaries taught hockey skills to players at Surjit Hockey Academy.

Jalandhar, September 18: Olympian Rajinder Singh (Senior), Technical Lead, Round Glass Hockey Academy, Mohali, Mr. Lakhwinder Pal Singh Khaira, Working President, Surjit Hockey Society, Jalandhar and Mr. Amrik Singh Pawar, Secretary General, Punjab Hockey today jointly visited Surjit Hockey Academy and encouraged the young players undergoing training there, explained to them the intricacies of the game, shared their experiences and also gave them important tips on the game of hockey.
On this occasion, Olympian Rajinder Singh (Senior) gave important tips to the players about various techniques of hockey, such as passing, dribbling, defense and goal-shooting. He emphasized that hard work, discipline and passion for the game are very important to achieve success.
Mr. Lakhwinder Pal Singh Khaira, Working President, Surjit Hockey Society, Jalandhar while addressing the gathering, said that the aim of the academy is to teach the art of hockey to the younger generation and prepare good players for the country. He also motivated the players to work hard with full enthusiasm to bring glory to the country.
Mr. Amrik Singh Powar, Secretary General, Hockey Punjab while motivating the young players, stressed the importance of hard work, dedication and teamwork to achieve success in hockey competitions.
In this occasion, the coaching staff and management committee of the academy were also present. Mr. Iqbal Singh Sandhu, CEO expressed gratitude to the sports experts for the guidance shown to the players. He said that such visits always provide new energy and enthusiasm to the young players. On this occasion, the academy’s coaches Miss Pardeep Kaur, Sita Devi, Bindu Sharma, Prof. Balwinder Singh and Naresh Kumar Nangal, were also present.
